Purpose: to bring together sites that are dedicated to historical miniatures wargaming. By joining this ring you are linking your site to every other site in the ring.
Eligibility: Your site has to have more than half of its content devoted to historical miniature wargaming, or provide a service that would be useful to the historical miniature wargaming community.
Examples of appropriate sites:
Miniature Gaming clubs or organizations
Companies that sell historical miniatures or related materials
Companies or individuals that provide services to historical wargamers.
Personal web pages of historical miniature wargamers.
Sites that have materials useful to wargamers (uniforms, orders of battle, histories).
Probably others.
What to do: If you think you web page would be appropriate for the Historical Miniatures Wargaming Ring, click on the "Join Now" link on the ring icon (at the top and bottom of the page). This will take you to a Yahoo site where you will be asked to register with Yahoo and submit the URL and a short description of your site.
Once you do this (it only takes a few minutes) your site URL will be sent to me for approval. When you get the confirmation message (Confirmation - application sent) you should click on the Historical Miniatures Wargaming link. Then, under Member Tools, click on Get Navigation Bar. Follow the instructions found there. Please install this code on your page as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE Your site can not be officially added to the ring until it can be verified that it is appropriate and that you have the proper HTML code and link already on your page. You will get an email notifying you when the site has been added to the Historical Miniatures Wargaming Ring. This will usually be within a couple of days, but sometime lesser priorities intrude on the important things in life.Questions or problems? Send me an email!
